thanx for the information. Unfortunately I don't have the time and the resource to build me a cross-compiler environment.
Anybody out there who has the time, the environment and the will to build nordlichtsepg,fritzbox and dvbmon for me ?

Thank you for your commitment. I would like to build me the firmware using the firmware-builders, but unfortunately I always get several error messages. See attached log file.
What do legal wrong?

Here you have fritzbox and nordlichtsepg plugins for VDR-NG-EM 0.7 firmware.
dvbmon already is included in plugins pack here.

The addition of the log file did not work for me (and my Spanish is zero)

The other error messages are similar ... So I will dare! ;-)

If the problem is the forum interface language, you can change it in "Perfil (link bar on top) > Preferencias (tab) > Idioma del Foro (drop-down list) > Registrar (button)".

I recompiled ToolChain from scratch with 0.7 svn branch, definitely something has changed.
If you want I can send you by p.m. the firmware generated in wsw or ofi format compatible with these plugins.

Windows builder and 0.7 svn branch should be compatible, but something had changed in my Pc and Toolchain md5sum is different.

hello everyone,

i was just getting excited about the new firmware and just downloaded the windows-wizard as linked on the english part of your announcement.
it worked wonderful (using win 7 pro 32) and so i decided to generate an wsw-file from it. with "german" being my choice,
after flashing it to my m740 i got surprised that the whole menue was in spanish only. so i re-did the whole process and made sure that i chose "german" as being my fav language (first setup-point). again it ended up in spanish only.
/edit: english isn't working either + attached log-file

what did i make wrong?

i mean... i would understand 20% of the menue (so i could start a channel-search and such) but it would definitly be easier in german

Hi Jimmy,

I understand that now you have firmware in english, but you want to set german.

Simply go to "MENU -> Configuración -> Setup -> OSD -> Language -> Deutsch".
Some menus will still be in spanish and english, but this is because are not translated.

yes you were right: i ended up in english and didn't check the osd again for the language setting (sometimes i'm really blond ). so now thats done. thanks so much for your help! great thing!!!

i even succeeded in watching some recorded files on my ipad (ios 5.1.1). but somehow i failed to watch a livestream with it. do you have an idea what to do to be able to do that?
i just noticed that even my desktop (win 7 pro 32) wouldn't play a html5-video-tagged livestream from the webif. only vlc-plugin. but as a matter of fact vlc was removed from itunes and it's unlekely at the moment that it will ever come back to it

Usually people use vlc as streaming client and I do not know another that works, but if you can install a DLNA or NFS client you could view recordings.

sure thing, vlc works perfectly under windows 7. great. but since there's a major problem with apple's general terms and conditions and gpl II (which vlc is published under) there won't be any vlc available for iOS-itunes.
so i was just wondering if someone here would know how to stream live to an Ipad without using vlc.

and then i noticed that if you'd change to html5-video instead of vlc-plugin even firefox 14.x running on win 7 pro (32) wouldn't stream livestreams anymore (meaning: you can't watch them)... and so i thought that might be a general problem then.

as for watching prerecorded stuff on iPad from giga that works perfectly.
